One such place is called the Kastalia Studios and Apartments. These accommodations are surrounded by rich greenery, and blooming gardens. Visitors will find eight building in all that are a part of the Kastalia complex. Visitors who stay at the Kastalia can take a morning walk with the local gardening instructor or take in the view of the Kolumbari. Also, if travelers take a bus to Platanias to participate in lively light life activities, and Chania, to experience more of Greek/Cretan culture.
One visitor who stayed at the Kastalia commented that the bar served "superb cocktails", had an "immaculate swimming pool", and also had a tennis court and children's play area. Nearby is located a large beach as well, which contains quite a few pebbles on it, but doesn't stop visitors from taking part in the outdoor fun such as swimming, and other outdoor activities.
Kamisiana is not the only noteworthy place to visit on the Island of Crete. You can find many others. All of them have a taste of the traditional Greek lifestyle as well as contemporary themed culture. Other main tourists resorts in Crete are located on the Northeast coast between Heraklion and Agios Nikolaos. Younger groups who like to party will enjoy their stay at Malia and Hersonissos. Furthermore, three-fourths of Crete is covered with beautiful mountain ranges, gorges, and ravines. The last remaining part of Crete is reserved for farming.
